SPECIAL NOTICE!

The Chicago Police Department will soon launch its “Be Better Behind the Badge” citywide advertising campaign in continuation of its commitment to better policing and greater community involvement. The advertising campaign will present sworn members in different roles within the Department, demonstrating that we take pride in our profession and are committed to making the Chicago Police Department better and more responsive every day. As a Department, we want our officers to enthusiastically join our quest to “Be Better Behind the Badge”. We invite you to participate in a photo and/ or video shoot for the campaign. The campaign will be seen citywide on CTA buses and trains, social media, online ads, and more. It’s your community, here’s your chance to make it better. If you are a sworn member interested in participating in this campaign, you must submit a short biography outlining your service with CPD, the area in which you grew up in and where you live now, and a photograph via email to Sgt. Kristy Yanney at kristy.yanney@ chicagopolice.org no later than Friday, 08 September 2023.
