Forwarded from Paul Zogg. Commandant Chicago Police Marine Corps League, Detachment 553.

Saturday, 27 May 23 1200 hours, Memorial Day Parade, State/Wacker. While many Americans are only concerned with BBQ’s and beverages, we will march as usual in Chicago’s Memorial Day Parade to honor all of those who have died in service to this great country. We have been participating in this event annually since it returned in 1997 (It was started by old man Daley, stopped after his death, and brought back by his son). This is a great family friendly event where we can show pride in America, honor our fallen, and bring out the next generation of Patriots. Once we receive our float number, I will include it in an email. This is one of the largest Memorial Day Parades in the country and is well attended by military units, Veteran groups, high school ROTC detachments, and high school marching bands. We hope to see you there for a day of Patriotism.ke
