We are saddened to announce the passing of Joseph Gerard Halerz , age 63 on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was the beloved brother of Barbara (Chuck) Rummel and John Retired C.P.D. (Marcia) Halerz. Dear uncle of Chuck (Amanda)Rummel, John (Alexandra) Halerz and Sarah (Jason) Rafa. Loved Great Uncle to Abigail, Katherine and Kieran Rummel and Harrison and Everett Rafa and Penelope Griffin Halerz. He was preceded in death by his parents Adam S. and Dorothy B. , nee Leja Halerz. Joseph will be missed by his longtime friend, Jane Kerr and the many caring friends at UCP/Seguin. Visitation is Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation on Friday at the funeral home from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:30 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Faustina Kowalska Parish for a 10 AM mass. Joseph will be laid to rest next to his parents at Resurrection Cemetery.
