I received this information from one of our members, Phil Mannion, regarding the passing of a retired CPD officer:

On 18 Dec. 2025 Rich Cauble, one of our Arizona retirees from the CPD passed away. Rich was 83 years old and had been on the job for 31 years. While on the job he had been in the Task Force and later, Area 6 and then Area 3 as a detective in Robbery and then Violent Crimes. Upon retirement he worked for Lisa Madigan for a while as her driver and investigator. At this time the services will be private. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Rich was not on our membership roster, but I am passing this along to those who might have known him. May he rest in peace.
