Colette Mary Begley (nee Wall), RN, of Chicago, age 97, passed away peacefully on April 19 th surrounded by her family. Colette was the beloved wife of over 58 years to James J. (retired CPD); loving and devoted mother of Mary (Giuseppe) Saso and Sheila Begley; cherished grandmother of Megan and Caitlin; fond aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Mary Shaughnessy (late Donald) and her brother, James Wall (late Rita). Dear cousin and friend to many. Colette was preceded in death by her parents, James and Irene (Conlisk) Wall and her sister Regina Arndt (late Raymond). Colette was a dedicated registered nurse and worked into her early eighties as an RN in hospitals, on the B&O Railroad, in factories, and doctor's offices. She joined the United States Cadet Nurse Corps upon graduating high school, prior to the end of World War II, to serve our country. Colette's love of nursing inspired her granddaughters to follow her into this profession. The Begley family would like to thank Colette's devoted and beloved caregivers, Mona and Carm, who lovingly cared for her over the last 3 years.

Thomas E. “Tom” Havlicek passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side. He was the loving husband of Virginia, nee Alvarez. Dear father of Andrew (Kaytee) Havlicek. Fond brother of Kenneth (Laura) Havlicek and Karen (Troy) Guthrie. Uncle to Carl, Mark and Kelly. Cherished son of Marjorie and the late Richard C. Havlicek. Much loved brother-in-law and uncle to many. Tom was a longtime resident of Chicago’s Clearing community. He worked for the City of Chicago for many years and his current position was at Midway Airport. Tom was a hardworking, compassionate, friendly person, who had the greatest smile. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Friends and family will hold him in their hearts forever. Visitation is Tuesday from 4PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:30 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church for a 10 AM mass. Tom will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Thomas "Tom" E. Robert W. Sadler, age 78, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of 58 years to Linda (nee Kashmier) and the loving father of Laura Lukasik (nee Sadler) and her husband Aaron, and of Dustin Sadler and his wife Marcie. Cherished grandfather of Breana, Andrew, Patrick, Maya, Samantha, Everitt, and Skylar, Robert took great pride and joy in his family. He was the proud son of the late Robert and Lillian (nee Borchard) Sadler, and a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered for the special bond he shared with his best companion, his dog Wrigley. Robert honorably served his country as a United States Marine Corps veteran and later dedicated his career to protecting his community as a member of the Chicago Police Department, from which he retired with pride. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Robert’s life during visitation on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, Illinois. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, 16201 S. 104th Avenue, Orland Park, Illinois.
