Ralph Groskopf, 81, a long-term resident of Tinley Park, passed away suddenly February 26, 2025. Born May 12, 1943, he was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Marge (nee English) Groskopf, his sister Anne Groskopf and brother, William Groskopf. Beloved husband of 61 years to Agnes Groskopf (nee Doherty), devoted father of William Groskopf (Lisiane). He is also survived by cherished nieces and nephews. Following service in the army after graduation from St. Rita High School (1961), Ralph worked at The Association of RailRoads. After retiring, he worked for the Hazel Crest Police Dept. and enjoyed golf and time with their dogs, Chelsea & Sammy. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, June 23, 10AM. St. Julie Billiart Church, 7399 W. 159th St., Tinley Park. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.

Nancy J. Woodward, 78, Born May 31, 1947, passed away on June 21, 2025. Adored and cherished wife of Vincent J. Najdowski. Married for over 34 years, Vince and Nancy shared a lifetime of happiness and adventures. Throughout her illness, Vince never left her side. Preceded in death by her parents Richard Woodward and Angela Nee Couture Woodward, her brother Michael Woodward, and Aunt Therese Woodward. Nancy is survived by her beloved husband Vince. Their children are Darleen (John), Aragon, Kim (Todd) Woloszyk, Vince (Tina Sanchez) Najdowski. Loving grandmother to, Kyle (Kelly) Aragon, Danielle (Daniel) Perales, Cassidy (Mitchell Shintaku) Aragon, Ryan (Dani Prchal) Woloszyk. Her cherished sister Joan Woodward (George- deceased Riley), Niece Renee (Scott) Webb, and great niece Natalie Webb. Nephew Daniel Riley. Niece Jamie (David) Henneman, Great Nephew, Nicholas. Nephew Joseph Woodward. Nancy was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, loved dining at wonderful restaurants, shows, and relished her time spent with family and dear friends. Nancy was employed in an administrative/civilian role for over 35 years by the Chicago Police Department and the Illinois State Police, receiving numerous awards for her dedicated service. Upon Nancy’s retirement, she was awarded the Abraham Lincoln award for exemplary service, the highest honor for a civilian. Nancy greatly treasured this award. In December of 1958 Nancy survived the devastating Our Lady of Angels School fire in Chicago. Nancy often participated in yearly memorials for her schoolmates that perished. She carried the memories and grief of this tragic event her entire life. Above all else, Nancy loved her family and friends with every fiber of her being. Her wit, humor, her laugh, and zest for love of life will forever be missed. Nancy cherished each and every life role as Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Beloved Friend.
