Gerald D. Page, age 79, Retired Battalion Chief CFD, Retired Fire Chief, Moline, IL and Retired Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MABAS. Passed away June 1, 2025 peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with Parkinson's. Beloved husband of 59 years to LaRae (nee Harnisch). Devoted father of Lisa (John Shipley) Page and Stacey Bull. Proud Grandfather of Alexandra, Victoria and Jesalyn. Beloved son of the late Gerald (Bud) Page and Martina Campbell. Being a Firefighter was his passion. He worked his way through the ranks, from Firefighter to Battalion Chief and Retired after 32 years of service. His career moved him to Moline, IL. as Fire Chief and then went on to work for MABAS as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Proud graduate of Northwestern University/Kellogg School of Business. He was grateful for the opportunities he had to travel and particularly loved the adventures with his grandchildren. Visitation Friday 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until time of Service 10:30 a.m. at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL. The Professional Counseling Division/EAP would like to remind all Department Members about the Family Member Suicide Support Group, which will meet on Tuesday, 17 Jun 25 at 1800 hours. The meeting will take place at the EAP South Office, located at 11540 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL 60643, Phone: (312) 742-0222. This monthly support group is open to the family members of department personnel who are seeking support and resources.
