William “Bill” Olson, 78, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin originally from Chicago, Illinois passed away on March 25, 2025. Bill was born on January 30, 1947, in Chicago, Il, the son of Willard and Sally Olson. He graduated from De La Salle high school in 1965. Bill was drafted by the US Army and served in Vietnam. He was promoted to an E-5 sergeant. Bill received a Purple Heart in March 1968. On May 6, 1973, Bill married Rosemary Joyce at Nativity of our Lord church in Chicago & they had 3 children. Bill worked many jobs to support his family including 28 years with the Chicago Police Department, with EIS as a trade show carpenter at McCormick Place in Chicago for close to 15 years & more recently 7 years with Premier Bank as a courier. During retirement, Bill enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, being outdoors and fishing when he could. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary of 51 years, three children: William of Chicago, Kristine of Fort Atkinson and Elizabeth (Stuart)Sigmund of Dousman. Grandchildren: Mary, Therese, Andrew, and Augustin Sigmund. Brother John (Rosina) and Sister Shelley Bostetter, both of Chicago. Brother-in-law to Joan (Fred)Pearson, William (Diane) Joyce, & Patricia (Steve) Flounders. Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a great friend to many. Bill was preceded in death by Willard and Sally Olson, William and Rose Joyce, Sara Bostetter, and countless other relatives & friends. Bill was involved with countless organizations including DAV, Military Order of the Purple Heart, American Legion, FOP, VVA, PVA, VFW and many other valued organizations. The Olson family would like to thank the many Caregivers Bill has had over the years. Bill was a brave man who served his family, his country, and the Chicago Police Department well. His strong will and loyalty were unmatched, and we will miss him dearly. A Wisconsin Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Nitardy Funeral Home 1008 Madison, Fort Atkinson WI 53538. An Illinois Visitation will also be held for Bill on Monday, March 31, 2025 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home 6116 W. 111th St., Alsip, IL 60453. Funeral Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Chapel Service 11 a.m. to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 W. 111th St. Alsip, Il 60803, for burial with military honors. Antonio Trinidad, Jr., Ret. CFD Passed away on March 25, 2025 Antonio Trinidad Jr., (Ret. CFD). Age 65, late of Hegewisch and formerly of South Deering neighborhood in Chicago, IL. Passed away on March 25, 2025. Beloved husband of Helen Dimtrakopoulos Trinidad for 29 years. Loving father of Ariana and Nicholas Trinidad. Dearest brother of Richard (Maria) Trinidad, James (Tina Marie) Trinidad, David (Sandra) Trinidad, Awilda Trinidad (Ted) and Rose (late Jim) Clemens. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Antonio Trinidad Sr. and Julia Figueroa. Antonio retired from the Chicago Fire Department as a Captain after 32 years of dedicated service. He was an avid fisherman and loved to ride his motorcycle. He will be dearly missed by all.
