Mary Louise Elliott (nee Zimmerli), Beloved wife for 56 years of Robert "Bob" Elliott (Retired Chicago Police Department). She was the devoted and loved mother of Robert Elliott, Thomas (Smantha) Elliott, Brian (Bridget) Elliott, Kevin (Beth) Elliott (MGPD); Cherished Nanee of: Patrick, Robert, Megan, Grace, Erin, Nora, Anna; proud daughter of the late Rolf and the late Marie (nee Macchia) Zimmerli daughter-in-law of the late Anna J. (nee Gorman) Elliott, dear sister of Linda (Jeff Overen), dear sister-in-law of Mary Julia (late Jack) Schumacher, found aunt of Renee (John) Pelster, Kristen (John) Squally, Heather Schumacher, Ryan Schumacher and many cousins. Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Cicero, Mary Lou attended St. Anthony Grade School and graduated from Providence High School in Chicago. She went on to become a registered nurse after earning her degree from St. Anne's Nursing School and began working at St. Anne's Hospital beginning in 1967. In 1969 she married Bob and together they moved to the Edison Park neighborhood in Chicago, becoming members of St. Juliana Parish while raising their family. Mary Lou later worked at Resurrection Hospital until her retirement. After retiring, she and Bob moved to Richmond, Illinois embracing the country lifestyle and joining St. Joseph's Parish. Over the years, Mary Lou enjoyed attending arts and crafts shows, sometimes as a vendor selling her homemade creations and other times as a customer collecting treasures across Illinois and Wisconsin. Friends and neighbors may greet the family on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 9:00AM to 10:15AM, closing prayer at Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home, 8103 Wilmot Rd., Spring Grove, IL. Funeral Mass of Resurrection will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 10519 N. Main Street, Richmond, IL with a luncheon immediately following. Interment will be Tuesday August 19, 2025, in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 2755 W. 111tha Street Chicago, IL at 12:00 PM. Anyone attending the internment should meet at the cemetery gate at 12:00 PM noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Richmond, IL or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org in Mary Lou's name would be greatly appreciated by her family For additional information, please contact the funeral home at 815-675-0550.

Sharon Lynn Maresso , January 25, 1946 – August 13, 2025, age 79, of Oak Lawn, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Beloved Wife of the late Jerry "Billy" for a loving 38 years. Devoted Mother of Carol (Jeff Schaaf), Robert (Jennifer), Anthony (Karen), and Michael (Elaina). Proud Grandmother of Gianna and Dominic Schaaf, Leo, Christian, Maxwell, Allie, Maddie, Carlie, and Maggie, and cat grandmother of Zitti and the late Kitty and Angel. Fond Daughter of the late Martha Swan and Thomas Dineen. Dear Sister of Mary Lou Daniels, Thomas Swan, Maryann Hothersall, and the late Robert Swan. Aunt, Cousin, and Friend to many. A Visitation for Sharon will take place Monday, August 18, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Andrew J. McGann Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd. Chicago, IL 60655. A funeral prayer service will take place the same evening at 7:00 PM.
