Nino James Cuttone, age 63, late of Chicago, IL, passed away March 31, 2025. Devoted father, brother, son, stepson, stepbrother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Nino was stationed with the Chicago Office of Emergency Management. He was a dedicated electronic engineer with the Chicago Police Department for over 30 years, specializing in counter terrorism. He fixed just about everything from helicopters, cameras, scanners, and computers. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his daughter Brittany. He will be greatly missed by many. Beloved father of Brittany Ann Cuttone. Loving and protective brother of Gena Marie (Mike) Kawka. Caring stepbrother of Lisa Loh and Joseph Borski Jr. Cherished son of the late Eugene and the late Patricia Cuttone. Cherished stepson of Joseph Borski Sr. Beloved uncle of Shannon Moses, Sarah (Ryan) Wilder, Zachary Kawka, and Madeline Kawka. Dearly adored nephew of Nino Joseph (Cindy) Cuttone. Richard Allen Melody, aged 80, of Chicago, Illinois, was found to have peacefully passed away in his residence in Pattaya, Thailand, on March 26, 2025. He was born on February 19, 1945, to James and Evelyn Melody. Richard Allen Melody honorably served his country with the U.S. Army Signal Corps, showcasing his dedication to duty and excellence. Following his military service, he contributed to the Chicago skyline as an esteemed member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union 73. Richard also devoted 22 years to the Chicago Police Department, where his unwavering commitment to justice and community welfare left a profound impact and created enduring friendships. Richard was a man of many talents who found joy in working with his hands, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He treasured attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, cheering them on with immense pride. Another favorite pastime was going to the movies, enjoying popcorn, and sipping on Diet Coke. He was also fond of drinking tea and having long chats with friends and family. Richard’s passion for traveling abroad enriched his life with diverse experiences and friendships across the globe, ultimately leading him to spend his later years in the vibrant culture of Thailand. He is survived by his loving former spouse and best friend, Linda; his children, Joseph (Maggie), Jennifer, and Richard (Lishan); and his siblings, James (Mary), Randy (Diana), and Kristine. He was a proud grandfather to Ashley, Stephanie, Samuel, Everett, Wyatt, and Leonardo, and a great-grandfather to Nathaniel, Elijah, Leilani, Natalie, Savannah, Gabriella, Miley, and Carley. A cremation ceremony will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Wat Pothi Samphan in Pattaya, Thailand. A celebration of his life will be tentatively held on May 26, 2025, near Chicago, IL.
Mr. Joseph G. Rosner age 78 of Martin, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Jackson-Madison General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Joseph was born in Chicago, IL on March 17, 1947, to the late Thomas Joseph Rosner and Dorothy Bernice Johnson Rosner. He was a retired Chicago Patrol Officer, an avid Chicago sports fan especially of The Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears. He is survived by his wife; Patricia Bonner Cavallone, two sons; Anthony (Maureen) Rosner of Mt. Greenwood, IL, Brian (Veronica) Rosner of Buckeye, AZ, four grandchildren; Craig (Lindsey) Rosner of Tinley Park, IL, Katelyn (Jazlyn) Rosner of Tinley Park, IL, Jordan Rosner of Buckeye, AZ, Darren Rosner of Buckeye, AZ, five sisters; Kathleen (Thomas) Small Murphy of Palos Heights, IL, Margaret "Peggy" (Wayne) Chilson of Glendale, AZ, Mary Ann Rosner of Worth, IL, Patricia (Joseph) Oliosi of Tinley Park, IL, one brother; Thomas (Marilyn) Rosner of Frankfort, IL, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Four step-sons; Robert (Betty) Nanney of Newbern, TN, Randal "Keith" (Kim) Nanney of Trenton, TN, four step-grandchildren; Robert (Brittaney) Nanney of Newbern, TN, Rebecca (Bill) Robertson of Russellville, KY, Brooklyn Nanney of Dyersburg, TN, Jacob Nanney of Tempe, AZ, three step great-grandchildren.
